A variety of training opportunities are available to emergency responders, both public and private, to enhance response capabilities. These classes cover a wide range of topics and we attempt to present offerings in multiple disciplines. All classes receive certification and CEUs may be available.
These programs are offered as part of the conference registration fee but class sizes are limited and only available on a first come first serve basis. Registration confirmation is required to attend.

The breakout sessions incorporate general sessions and smaller group sessions.
The general sessions feature regionally and nationally recognized experts who present information related to the conference theme as well as on topics relevant to today’s Emergency Managers.
Breakouts sessions are incorporated to enhance and emphasize, in a smaller group format, specific emergency management programs and objectives. These smaller sessions allow for close interaction with State and regional experts. Once again, a variety of topic tracks are offered to cover many aspects of emergency preparedness.

With the conference focusing on the local emergency manager, there are many opportunities for interaction with counterparts in the field. This forum is intended to bring New Jersey’s emergency management professionals, career and volunteer, together to exchange ideas and information. There are many opportunities during training for formal interaction as well as scheduled social sessions to mix and mingle and share ideas. NJEPA also hosts a golf outing, at one of the local clubs, to further interact as you are battling your way through the links.
A large display area has been developed with over 100 exhibit spaces at the Tropicana. This area is strictly reserved for organizations and companies that provide equipment, supplies and services to support emergency management. Many of our corporate sponsors are also available in this area to discuss programs and opportunities that they offer. The exhibit hall also serves as the focal point of the conference activities.
